The problem

UCAS makes five UK choices one evening's work. Three universities in three European countries is a different job.

Every destination has its own portal, calendar, document rules and way of reading British qualifications. The information exists, scattered across dozens of websites in several languages. What is missing for a UK sixth-former is one place that knows the UK system and the European ones, and a human to ask.

Student Finance England support for a complete degree at a university outside the UK. Tuition and living costs abroad must be funded by the family, scholarships or the destination country. This is the single biggest filter on who can use us.

What applying to three European universities involves today

We solve the first four. The fifth, funding, we help families understand but cannot remove.

  1. 01Separate national or university portalsStudielink in the Netherlands, uni-assist for most German bachelor's degrees, each Portuguese university's own international-student round. Different accounts, forms and fees.
  2. 02Different deadlines, all before UK results day15 January for Dutch numerus fixus programmes and 1 May for the rest; typically 15 July via uni-assist for German winter semester; Portuguese rounds close by late spring.
  3. 03Reading British gradesDoes AAB meet the requirement? Each university answers in its own terms. Few publish A-level, BTEC or IB equivalences plainly.
  4. 04Documents and certificationCertified copies, sworn translations or apostilles where required; English-language test exemptions that vary by university.
  5. 05Funding and residenceUK student finance does not follow you. Most corridors ask for proof of funds for a residence permit, and tuition is usually paid up front.
